About Cranky Press

Cranky Press is an online letterpress service run by The Graphic Touch Company, a commercial printer based in Salem, Ohio. Located in the fictitious Typesetters Local .918 building, Cranky Press appreciates the long tradition of the printing and typesetting trade.

We’ve been cranking away a long time!

Keith Berger bought the print shop in 1983 just when big tech was starting to come out of their garages. The digital revolution brought quite a few changes to the printing industry and let’s just say the Cranky Press stayed a few steps behind the technology curve. But what we lack in fancy gadgets, we more than make up for with knowledgeable experience.

New Letterpress Facilities

We are located in beautiful Salem, Ohio, which is almost exactly half way between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The Cranky Press has been offering printing services for people and businesses across the country for over 40 years.
